Each class has an experienced Co-teaching team, comprising one Western and one Chinese teacher, who collaboratively plan for the learning needs of individual children, and readily respond to and extend their interests using both languages.
In these formative years, we focus on building strong and positive reciprocal relationships with all children, encouraging their natural curiosity to explore the world around them by providing a safe, secure and stimulating learning environment. This is critical for both their cognitive and social-emotional development, and enables them to feel confident in their own identity, language and culture, while beginning to appreciate differences and diversity. It is upon this solid foundation that each child’s future academic success and personal well-being are built, allowing them to thrive in a globalized world.
